I also explored the mechanics of robotic sorting systems to estimate efficiency improvements alongside professional mechanical and industrial engineers. My work contributed to reports used by senior management in shaping expansion strategy for a potential $10M+ U.S. market. This internship gave me exposure to the global sustainability sector and showed me how business strategy and engineering innovation must align to succeed.
Sustainability & Process Intern – Forever Distillery:
During my time at Forever Distillery, I observed the ethanol production process from molasses to Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) used in premium alcohol brands, while also learning about the growing relevance of E20 biofuel policy in India. I gained insight into sustainable industrial practices such as wastewater treatment systems that save over 100,000 liters monthly and by-product power generation that provides 30% of the plant’s energy. This experience gave me a deep appreciation of how engineering processes integrate with policy and environmental responsibility.
At Maruti Suzuki, I worked in dealership operations where I interacted directly with over 50 customers through sales demonstrations, assisted in loan processing and financing, and observed backend data systems related to service and warranty operations. I learned the technical aspects of automobiles along with customer negotiation and relationship management skills. This experience allowed me to see how engineering excellence is complemented by communication and business operations in the automobile industry.
